Maximus Returns Home

Having lost her rig in the second race of the Rolex Maxi Worlds, Maximus is heading back to New Zealand with the two mast sections on her deck. She is bound now for La Spezia and will be shipped directly on the 27th September to arrive in New Zealand by the end of October.

Even though the campaign was cut short in Italy SLAM photographer Giovanni De Sandre was able to capture some outstanding images from throughout the first successful days racing in Porto Cervo.
