Cork Week And A Touch Of Royalty
[
29 / 07 / 2006 ]
Cork Week 2006 ended with a blast of southerly wind and sunshine for the 5000 sailors and 400-plus boats racing off Ireland's south coast on Friday (21st July). Maximus and EBS Yachting finished 6th on points behind eventual winners Panthera and rivals Chieftain, Formidable 3, Maligaya and Oystercatcher who finished 2nd through 5th respectiavley.
Additional press coverage has also come to light this week surrounding the visit of a little royalty during the 2006 Newport - Bermuda Race when Team EBS Yachting had the pleasure of inviting Princess Ann, President of the Royal Yachting Association aboard during her visit to the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.
